On the East coast of Britain in the
county of Lincolnshire, Boston is a quiet port town
that receives few cruise ships. Its Cathedral
is one of the most beautiful in England, with stunning
stained glass windows that cast columns of coloured
light into its vast spaces. From Boston guests can also
visit one of the Queen’s favourite residences;
Sandringham
in Norfolk, where she spends Christmas each year –
also renowned for its fields of lavender. Norfolk is
less accessible by land and so to visit by cruise ship
is the perfect way to explore this part of England.
