Opened in April 2001, Eden is to be
the world's largest global garden. The scene is breathtaking:
a world in microcosm; a cultural melting pot of global
plants both wild and cultivated are housed in a glass
dome large enough to fully enclose the Tower of London
in its 60 meter deep crater. The Garden of Eden contains
plants and trees ranging from the Amazon to West Africa
to Malaysia and is the only one of its kind anywhere
in the world.
Take a one hour coach journey through the Cathedral
city of Truro and the china clay capital of St Austell
to EDEN. Take an easy 15 minute stroll into the massive
conservatories known as biomes. Explore a world of nature
accompanied by your guide. Afterwards, take time to
shop for plants before re-boarding your coach to continue
return to Falmouth.
