The Isles of Scilly is an archipelago
of five inhabited islands and other small rocky islets
off Lands End - the most South Westerly point of the
British Isles. With a total population of just over
two thousand, an exceptionally mild climate, and countless
golden sandy beaches, Scilly is a beautiful haven of
peace and tranquillity loved by visitors and locals
alike.
You will be met this morning by the owner of the Atlantic
Hotel, a lovely property located on the pretty Isle
of St Mary. On arrival at the Atlantic Hotel you will
enjoy morning coffee whilst being introduced to the
history of the Isles by a knowledgeable local guide.
Following refreshments enjoy a scenic tour of St Mary,
beginning with the Elizabethan Castle. Tour the town,
harbour area, white sandy beaches and flower strewn
footpaths around St. Mary, meet with artists and see
ancient sites, before returning to your ship.
