Campbeltown

The epitome of the more remote parts of Scotland, Campbeltown and the Kintyre peninsula provide a wonderful example of heather-clad hillsides, spectacular coastline, remote and ruined castles – it is a scenic delight on the senses. All our tours provide the opportunity to see some of the island and its coastline. For a true remote Scottish Island experience, hop by ferry over to Gigha Island and visit the lovely Achamore Gardens on a walking tour. Head north to the atmospheric ruins of Skipness Castle that guarded the Sound of Bute against the Vikings. Or take a full day to explore further north, travelling along the banks of beautiful Loch Fyne to reach Inverary and its impressive Castle.
