Inverary is a charming little port nestled
deep inland along Loch Fyne. It is a pretty little town
with whitewashed buildings and a bustling little fishing
port with it’s history in herring fishing. Close
to the town is Inverary
Castle. A short drive away are the glorious
Crarae
Gardens created in a natural gorge complete
with delightful waterfalls and now in the safe hands
of the National trust for Scotland. More extended panoramic
tours (Western
Highland or Eastern
Highland) can take in the larger port of
Oban with it’s distillery.
Some other tour options include:
Arduaine Gardens
Delightful coastal gardens that
overlook the beautiful Loch Melfort.
