Oban

The busy traditional Scottish port of Oban is the gateway to the West Scotland Highlands. The town has plenty on offer for visitors including distillery, a curious and imposing folly, glass centre and more. Explore the town on a walking tour or venture further afield to explore this region of dramatic natural beauty further in our Argyll Scenic Drive. Garden lovers can visit the coastal Arduaine Gardens and castle junkies can head to Inverary to visit the extravagant Inverary Castle.

	Arduiane Gardens & Inverary Castle
	Combine both sites for a full day excursion with free time in Inverary to explore the pretty town, it’s jail and lunch.
	Mull’s Duart and Torosay Castles
	For a full day tour take the ferry across to Craignure on the Isle of Mull and visit Duart Castle, followed by Torosay Castle (both entirely different!) before returning to Craignure via the pretty little steam train and then ferry back to Oban.
	North Highland Panoramic
	Head East beside beautiful Loch Etive, through the Pass of Brander and then North to Glencoe. Here visit the excellent visitor centre to understand how this dramatic landscape was formed and soak up the impressive scenery before returning to Oban. Free time can be added in Fort William to make this a full day.
