Swansea is Wales’ second city
and the birthplace of the poet Dylan Thomas and actress
Catherine Zeta Jones. Today enjoy a walking tour of
the city discovering the past haunts of Dylan Thomas.
See the newspaper offices where Dylan Thomas first worked
as a junior reporter, Dylan Thomas Theatre where he
acted with the drama group Swansea’s Little Theatre,
the studios where he made radio broadcasts, the Old
Grammar School he attended and finally pay a visit to
the Dylan Thomas Centre. Now home to the National Literature
Centre for Wales, the Dylan Thomas Centre also houses
a permanent exhibition to the poet. There is time free
to independently explore the city’s attractive
Maritime Quarter, commanding attractive views across
