Depart Swansea and journey north to
The Garden of Wales, the first national botanic garden
to be created in the United Kingdom for over 200 years.
Set in the former 18th-century regency park of Middleton
Hall in Camarthenshire, the Garden enjoys a pollution-free
environment, spectacular views of the surrounding countryside
and a rich cultural heritage. The 568-acre estate features
seven lakes, cascades, water features and the spectacular
Green Glasshouse, the largest single-span greenhouse
in the world, housing an interior landscape with a 40-foot-deep
ravine, 10,000 plants from all the Mediterranean climates
of the world, and an interactive area called the Bioverse.
There is plenty of time available for you to explore
with your guide, and independently before travelling
back to Swansea and to your siip.
